When we were starting fast A/R funding locating free tools and information on the internet was important to us.  Like most startups we were looking to keep costs down, and the more we could do without turning to lawyers and other outside help the better.  The following is a list of tools that are helpful for anyone starting a business in Arizona.

http://azeconomy.eller.arizona.edu/  - University of Arizona Economic and Business Research center.  Great information available on current economic trends in Arizona.

http://www.azsos.gov/  - Arizona Secretary of State.  Information on how to start a business, form a corporation or get a business license.  Great website to do simple, free research on your competitors, customers and vendors.  

http://www.banksinarizona.com/ - List of business banks in Arizona.  Arizona is famous for its fragmented banking industry and this list is a great place to start when looking for a bank for your new business.  

http://www.cpafinder.com/accountant/arizona - Chances are you will need an outside CPA firm to handle your tax returns and some bookeeping.  

http://www.asba.com/ - The Arizona Small Business Association. Great place to start when it comes to networking and promoting your business.  Get the word out!
