Like most businesses, the management at Fast A/R Funding put together a financial projection for 2011. With the funding of three new accounts receivable financing loan facilities so far in the month of October we are now 25% ahead of projections for 2011. The reason we are able to be successful in the current economic environement is because of a combination of several things.

There are several ways to finance the growth of your business. When borrowing from a bank is not an option (due to limited operating history, negative cash flow, or poor credit history) most people only tend to think of selling a piece of their company to outside investors (friends and family or venture capitalists). Selling a piece of a company (selling equity) brings a whole host of often complex issues that some entrepreneurs don't focus on at the time, because they are purely looking for the cash needed to survive and grow. These adverse issues can include having new Board members, a responsibility to new shareholders (fiduciary responsibility), and new individuals to consult on various operational or decision-making processes.

What is Factoring? I know a lot of small business owners have heard the term factoring, or invoice discounting before and have an understanding that factoring involves getting the cash now instead of waiting 30, 60 or 90 days to be paid by their customers.

Accounts Receivable Financing Loan - New Closings for September!

So far the month of September has been great for Fast A/R Funding. We were able to close five new accounts receivable financing loans. For the purposes of this article one transaction typifies how our system works. In the course of under a week we were able to close a new accounts receivable financing loan to a client in the trucking industry. Factoring is nothing unusual in the trucking industry. What is different is the process that we use to get our clients funded as quickly and efficiently as possible.

According to the U.S. Census bureau inflation adjusted median household income has dropped to the lowest level since 1995 as illustrated in the chart to the left.

Today's edition of our "Some of the Secrets" series will focus on something really simple and well worth the money. Fast A/R Funding provides invoice factoring services to companies all over the United States. Because we rarely meet our client face to face, our first impression of our prospective clients is how they present themselves "digitally" to us. Their digital impression comes from things like the appearance of their website and facebook pages.
